The exhibition «There is no lonesome wave» which is on view in Paris from March 23 to May 3, 2023, at POUSH.
This is an exhibition with the theme of water as a main line that creating in co-curation with a part of the POUSH “bureau des penseur.euses” (thinker’s office): Elena Posokhova, Justine Daquin, Lê Thiên Bảo and Claire Luna.
On this occasion, Elena Posokhova curate the chapter «I landed» which highlights the power of Mediterranean water in the imagination of its inhabitants. Inviting five artists (Lucy Orta, Max Fouchy, Apollinaria Broche, Anne-Laure Wuillai and Clara Rivault), curator developed her proposal like an Odyssey among the Mediterranean islands.
«I landed» also stems from the experience within the framework of the MARLANDS project. This is an artist residency around the Mediterranean islands that was founded with the support of the EU and local institutions.
Located under the Coupole at POUSH, this quadruple exhibition unfolds like the islands within an archipelago. Each curator reveals his own interpretation of the theme of water, its currents and its properties.
Exhibition will be held from April 1 to May 3, 2023.
